When you use our services (course booking, equipment rental) we may collect the following personal data:

• First and last name - to identify the client and issue an invoice
• E-mail address - to confirm the booking and for communication
• Phone number - to contact you regarding the booking
• Course date and other booking details - in order to provide the services

We process your personal data for the following purposes:

• Processing and confirmation of bookings for ski and snowboard courses, including equipment rental processing.
• Processing of payments for ordered services through the payment gateway of Tatra banka, a.s.
• Communication with the client regarding ordered services and providing customer support.
• Fulfilment of legal obligations (accounting, tax obligations, archiving).
• Sending the marketing newsletter and commercial communications – solely on the basis of prior explicit consent (opt-in), which the client may withdraw at any time.
• Ensuring the security of the website, preventing fraud and protecting the rights of the controller.

We process personal data on the following bases:

• Performance of a contract – Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR – processing of data necessary for the conclusion and performance of the service contract (booking, payment, instruction, equipment rental).
• Legal obligation – Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR – bookkeeping and archiving of accounting documents under Slovak Act No. 431/2002 Coll. on Accounting (mandatory archiving for 10 years) and tax legislation.
• Legitimate interest – Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR – ensuring the security of the website and IT infrastructure, preventing abuse and fraud, asserting legal claims, and statistical traffic analysis.
• Consent of the data subject – Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR – sending marketing communications (newsletter), use of analytics and marketing cookies. Consent is voluntary and may be withdrawn at any time.

Where necessary, we may share your personal data with the following categories of recipients acting as processors or independent controllers:

• Tatra banka, a.s. – provider of the CardPay/TatraPay+ payment gateway for processing card or bank-transfer payments (including 3-D Secure technology).
• Google Ireland Limited – Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Google Ads services for traffic measurement and advertising campaigns.
• Meta Platforms Ireland Limited – Meta (Facebook) Pixel for measuring the effectiveness of advertising campaigns and for remarketing.
• WebSupport, s. r. o. – provider of web hosting and infrastructure for the operation of the website and e-mail mailboxes.
• Accounting office / tax advisor cooperating with the controller for the purpose of processing accounting documents.
• Public authorities (e.g. tax office, courts, police) to the extent required by generally binding legislation.

Some of the above recipients may process data in countries outside the European Economic Area. In such cases, transfers take place on the basis of standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission or other appropriate safeguards under Art. 46 GDPR.

Our website uses the following categories of cookies and similar technologies:

• Strictly necessary (technical) cookies – required for the correct functioning of the website, remembering language preferences and the session. Their use does not require user consent.
• Analytics cookies (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager) – help us measure website traffic and user behaviour in an anonymised form. Used only on the basis of granted consent.
• Marketing cookies (Google Ads, Meta/Facebook Pixel) – used to measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns and for remarketing. Used solely on the basis of granted consent.

Consent for optional cookies can be managed via the cookie banner on our website or in your browser settings. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before its withdrawal.

We retain personal data only for the period necessary to fulfil the purpose of processing or for a period required by law:

• Booking and payment records – for a period of 10 years from the end of the accounting period in which the service was provided, in accordance with Slovak Act No. 431/2002 Coll. on Accounting and tax regulations.
• Marketing data (newsletter) – for the duration of granted consent, but no longer than until its withdrawal or 5 years from the last contact with the controller.
• Login credentials of booking-system administrators – for the duration of the employment or similar relationship, or until the specific account is deleted.
• Cookies and web-server logs – in line with the default retention periods of the individual tools, but no longer than 26 months.

In connection with the processing of your personal data, you have the following rights:

• Right of access – you have the right to request information about what data we process about you.
• Right to rectification – you have the right to request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten") – you have the right to request deletion of your data when it is no longer needed for the purposes for which it was processed.
• Right to restriction of processing – you have the right to request restriction of the processing of your data.
• Right to data portability – you have the right to receive your data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format.
• Right to object – you have the right to object to processing carried out on the basis of legitimate interest or for direct-marketing purposes.
• Right to withdraw consent – where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
• Right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority – you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic, Hraničná 12, 820 07 Bratislava 27, dataprotection.gov.sk.

We have implemented appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction – including encrypted transmission (HTTPS/TLS), access control to the booking system and regular backups. When processing payments, payment-card details are entered directly on the secure page of Tatra banka, a.s. – the controller does not obtain or store this data.
