Rossignol Test Centre: what it means for you
Premiere is an official Rossignol Test Centre. In practice, this means you won't be riding worn-out rental skis of unknown origin, but current models from the French brand Rossignol. For relaxed skiing and beginners we carry the Rossignol REACT line, for sportier skiers the Rossignol FORZA line. Ski tourers get Ski Trab sets with Scott boots. How renting works, step by step
The whole process is quick and simple:
- Come to our shop – we are open daily from 8:00 to 21:00 during the winter season, roughly from December until the end of March or early April.
- Tell us your height, weight and skiing level; based on that we pick the right ski length and model.
- Try on the ski boots – well-fitted boots are half the battle, so we never rush this step.
- We adjust the bindings and your gear is ready; you can head straight to the slopes.
You can buy your ski pass directly at the resort or online via gopass.travel; slope information is available at vt.sk. Servicing and binding adjustment: safety first
Rental skis are only as good as their maintenance. We service our skis and snowboards continuously – edges, bases and bindings – so you get equipment in the condition it should be in. We set the bindings according to your weight, height and ability, which is crucial for the ski releasing safely in a fall. That is exactly why we advise against borrowing gear from a neighbour: poorly adjusted bindings needlessly increase the risk of injury.
Snowboards and ski touring: more than just skis
Snowboarders will find boards in the SKI EXPERIENCE & SNOWBOARD line from €20 per day, with a snowboard set from €26 per day. Ski tourers can choose Ski Trab sets: the complete set costs €40 per day (€76 / 2 days, €112 / 3 days), skis with skins €35 per day and Scott touring boots €25 per day. Yes, you read that right: you will not find cross-country skis in our offer. We don't want to lure you in with something we don't have. Our rental shop specialises in downhill skiing, snowboarding and ski touring – the things you will actually use on the slopes of Tatranská Lomnica. If you are a cross-country skier thinking about trying downhill this year, we are here for you: an alpine set from €24 per day, plus perhaps a private beginner lesson, is the fastest way to get comfortable on the slopes.
